Hello, We're Evoke Winery
In case you hadn’t heard, Naked Winery is now Evoke Winery. After years of navigating marketplace confusion with another online wine club with a similar name, we decided to make a change to carve out a future for our company.
Change is never easy. Sometimes it’s downright scary. But it’s something we’ve come to embrace as a small, ever-evolving company. In the past 15 years, we’ve grown from a scrappy winery selling wine out of the trunk of a car to a winery producing award-winning wines with three – soon-to-be – four tasting rooms across the Pacific Northwest.
I’d like to take this space to give thanks to our dedicated staff and gracious community. Together, we have weathered many changes in our company and the world at-large. And, of course, to our creative winemaking team, headed by Alaina Waller, our 34-year-old winemaker who has brought a fresh new perspective to this age-old craft.
A lot has changed in 15 years — locations, ownership, aesthetics — but the core of who we are has remained the same. We believe in the radical idea that wine is supposed to be fun. We exist to bring people together, to form deeper relationships and make meaningful memories. Great wine is just an added bonus.
In the coming months, we’re welcoming more new and exciting changes. We’re moving our Hood River location up the street to a spacious, multi-story and light-filled building where we’ll be able to create more spaces to come together. Next year, we will open a new tasting room on the revitalized Vancouver Waterfront. And, as the world opens back up, you bet we can’t wait to get back to doing what we do best: hosting parties and unique events.
If you’ve been following us on this wild ride, we thank you for your support. If you knew us as Naked, we warmly invite you to get to know us better as Evoke. And, if you’re new here, we can’t wait to get to know you. Stop by any of our tasting rooms, visit us online, or book a private tour of our winemaking facility in Hood River.
Because no matter where we’ve been or where we’re going, our story starts here.
With gratitude,
Peter Steinfeld
