Let's Dance Red Blend

Let's Dance Red Blend

Starting the year on a very high note.

After making its debut in mid November 2021, as our Club Evoke featured wine, Let’s Dance is now available to everyone and we can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year!

This spicy red wine is our first ever GSM blend - which is to say it’s a Northern Rhone style mash up of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. While the blend itself may be inspired by the French, this juice is serving up strictly stardust and gold medals.

All Together Now.

GSM blends are about as timeless as they are delicious. Each variety brings its own unique element and attitude to the party, but the real magic happens when they combine to create a synergy of flavor that keeps audiences thirsty for more.

Let’s break it down.

Grenache

Grenache is the baseline that gets the people movin’ and groovin’ with its punchy and unmistakable beat. Energetic notes of candied fruit roll-ups hit first, followed by a one-two punch of spicy cinnamon and white pepper flavors. Hiding behind its lighter color, Grenache lays down some pretty heavy bass in the way of body and mouthfeel, thanks in part to its high octane ABV. Depending on where it’s grown, Grenache is both fruit-forward and aromatic with a streak of lightning bolt acidity. Which is why winemakers often blended it with just a smidge of Syrah, to add a little *oomf* of tannin and a silky smooth mouthfeel.

Syrah

If this blend was a glitter rockin' glam band (and it absolutely should be), Syrah is definitely the androgynous lead singer. Almost always stealing the show, Syrah is the front man for some of the darkest, most bodacious, full-bodied red wines in the world. This vivacious vanguard is dripping with dark fruit flavors ranging from over-ripe blueberry to thick and savory black olive. Syrah greets this blend with piercing fruit flavors that taper off toward the middle, only to circle back with a spicy signature black pepper finish. Because of its front-loaded style, Syrah is often blended with grapes that add a little back-up on the mid-palate.

Mourvedre

Turn and face the strange. Mourvèdre is our modern day Mozart on keys - equal parts structure and poetry. Exploding with a jubilant bouquet of African violet and herbaceous aromas of black pepper, and thyme. And just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, this larger than life varietal hits your tongue with a rainbow riot of cherry, raspberry, and cassis flavors. Its thick skin gives the wine a boisterous body while maintaining its mystique with an enigmatic floral flair. If you love Cabernet Sauvignon, then Mourvèdre is gonna be your jam.

Turn it up and Let's Dance!

Let’s turn up the radio and twirl to the songs they are playin’. Sway to the music and get lost in the movement. Look into my eyes and fall into my arms. Let’s Dance!

Evokes notes of raspberry, baking spice, and serious moonlight.
